AI is completely changing the Industrial Landscape, roles, and expectations and it’s the gateway to the Future. The Speed at which change is taking place is astonishing. So many businesses/ roles/ people are becoming irrelevant or at least struggling to catch up with the Tech advancements. There’s no point in running away from it. Whether you like it or not, . And it’s not going away. So, what should we do?

Go deeper and become AI Resilient.
Those near the shore or running away(resisting change) are at highest risk.But those who understand, adapt, and  dive into the depths of AI will rise with the wave of AI for Future . This doesn’t mean everyone needs to become an AI engineer. We all need to adapt to the new world with AI, AI ecosystem and New Scenario.

Here is a simple thing you can try! Use your favourite AI tool to get help.

Discuss with ChatGPT (or Deepseek,Gemini,etc.) about your current skillset and explain that you want to secure your career.In the future AI age, these tools will be essential to stay relevant and survive.

Here is an example – Try this on ChatGPT —”I am a content writer, and I want to secure my career and my position in this AI era. Suggest tutorials/courses or strategies.” 

You will get the most elaborate and honest response on how you can upgrade yourself for the new order. Key here is – the more details you give about yourself, about your aspirations, the more relevant will be the response.

Start with self-awareness
What are your core strengths? Are you great with people? A systems thinker? A creative mind?

Think of your responsibilities that are routine and most likely to be taken by AI.
 

Focus on skills that are not easily replaceable

Identify where AI is a tool-not a threat.
Roles that rely on empathy, innovation, and human connection will still need you. (Think: psychology, mentoring, innovation, leadership, community building.) These are areas where AI and Humanity coexist and not compete.

Upskill Consciously
You don’t need to learn everything — just enough to stay relevant in the world shaped by AI Development.

Learn to use tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, or automation scripts for your own work. 

As per the recent news report, a study by Gartner, a US based tech research firm predicts a significant shift by 2027, 80% of Software Engineers will need to upskill to remain relevant in an AI driven world. Artificial intelligence is changing the landscape of software development and many other industries resulting in rapid advancements that will redefine the industry. This is the clear sign of where Future AI is headed.  

Get Curious-not scared.
The more you understand what AI can (and cannot) do, the better you can position yourself. If you dive deep — into your strengths, into new skills, into real understanding — you won’t be swept away by the AI tsunami, you will be AI Resilient.  You’ll ride it, steer it, and maybe even shape where it goes next.  

Don’t live under the illusion of –AI will Create More Jobs
You keep hearing: “AI will produce more jobs than it eliminates.” But this requires a dose of hard reality. Yes, future AI may produce new types of jobs, but these jobs require entirely different skill sets.  

For all you know, The Role of Human Resource Manager may get changed to Human Replacement Manager.  (A person responsible for replacing humans with AI)

Technology is moving at a fast pace, and we are racing ahead with AI Development that automates, replaces, and scales. But are we considering the larger impact on humanity, and are we focusing on technology that actually  or involves humans?
 

What is an AI-proof Technology?
When a startup or a business idea; whether in Food tech, Edutech, Fintech or any other industry go to the investors, first question – the risk, that the investor would think of is “will some new AI initiative be able to disrupt this idea” That’s the real concern in Future AI environment. This is what makes it AI-proof.  An idea to be AI-proof does not mean it is against AI. In fact, in most of our AI-proof Tech ideas, we will be using AI! But the heavy reliance on  AI & Humanity makes it immune to new AI disruptions.

Now imagine extending this thinking
– Healthcare systems focused on meeting patients’ emotional and personal needs.
– Mentorship platforms where human experience is the core value
– Spiritual and emotional well-being should be based on real wisdom, not just automated advice. 

We don’t just need more innovation.

Many like making feel-good statements like “AI will create more jobs” or “This therapy has no side effects,” which is as crazy as saying “digital photography will increase the demand for film rolls!”

Believing in fake ads like “this magical medicine cures all diseases” can mislead people into avoiding real treatments—with fatal consequences. AI and Job loss is not just a topic for debates—it’s a fast-approaching reality. While AI Development is fascinating and transformational, it comes at a high cost due to rapid & AI automation.

Can the rapid developments in AI create a scary future for mankind?
The answer is YES. Here’s the explanation.

The Industrial Revolution in 18th–19th century UK/Europe created some new jobs—like technicians, operators, and maintenance workers for machines. But the primary goal was to produce more with fewer human workers.

Now, let’s look at AI’s current initiatives and their impacts — clear signs of AI and Job loss through AI Development and AI automation:

• AI Chatbots & AI-based IVR bots = Loss of support jobs (already happening) AI Chatbots have quickly become a replacement for customer support positions, processing questions and issues on their own without human involvement. With capabilities expanding, AI Chatbots and AI engines will be replacing even more old school support positions in industries, providing faster and more effective service.
• Driverless cars (Self-driving Car) The name says it all = Meant to eliminate driving jobs
  AI-based translation = Threat to translators and translation agencies
• Copywriting and Content creation – A great number of jobs were lost within months of ChatGPT launch.
• Automated cooking, image generation without graphic artists, programmer-free software development — the list goes on

Do we see AI creating owner-less corporations or politician-free governments?

The driving forces behind AI automation are those in power, seeking more control and further consolidating wealth — increasing the divide between the “haves” and “have-nots.” Capitalism thrives on maximizing control, minimizing spending and risks.

This imbalance may trigger economic migration, political unrest, and even humanitarian crises — adding to the global impact of AI and Job loss.

So, here’s the clear statement:
AI will cause massive job loss, significant societal disruption, and a profound impact on the economy, power structures, and human psychology.

In the recently published report, experts predict that AI will replace full-time careers in 2025. The Future of Jobs Global Report 2025 reveals that 41% of companies plan workforce reductions as AI automation expands, sparking widespread unease among employees worldwide.

AI-Powered Programming: Silent threat to Coders –
AI Development in programming software such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek are being sold as copilots for coders—but quietly, they’re becoming pilots. These programs can now create complete functions, debug code, optimize queries, and even write complete modules with little human intervention. While this increases productivity in the short term, it’s also decreasing the demand for junior developers and entry-level programmers. What used to require a team of five can now be accomplished by a single talented developer using an AI tool. The consequence? Less room for new talent, shrinking growth opportunities, and increasing fear of redundancy even among talented programmers. AI and Job loss is no longer a future issue — it’s a pressing challenge of the present. What was seen as a Science Fiction a few years ago, is seen as reality today.

The Dangers of Agentic AI: Where tools take over as decision-makers
We are moving into the age of Agentic AI — where systems no longer just aid but act independently. Agentic AIs can make decisions, determine goals, and execute tasks by themselves. Although this increases efficiency, it also poses a critical threat: what if machines begin replacing not only jobs, but human judgment as well?
This transition may drive individuals further out of the loop -not only economically, but socially and psychologically. If machines no longer require users, what becomes of the value of human agency?

No human angle in Corporate AI Adoption
Businesses are racing to implement AI automation for profits, not people. There’s no planning for managing the change of roles and displacement. There are no ethical standards or plans for phased replacement, transition, or mental health care. This creates financial and social burden on employees/ workers — adding to AI and Job loss.

A psychologist was explaining in a session – the reasons for overall dissatisfaction in society, and also the increased number of divorces/ unstable relationships etc. He said, “The new generation spends a lot of time with devices. Devices behave as you expect them to behave. Each time when you press a button the response is known. But the real-life human relations do not behave this way. Use of devices, has reduced the threshold of acceptance, causing the relations to become weaker. This was just about use of devices like tabs and mobiles. Now with the advent of AI, the problem with human relationships is likely to get far worse!

The Global Disparity in AI Adoption
AI Development doesn’t affect every country the same way. Developed nations often have better support systems, faster adoption, and structured reskilling programs. But in developing countries, it can lead to widespread job loss with limited fallback options.

For example, India’s IT sector mainly provides services rather than building products. If these service-based roles become redundant due to AI automation, it could lead to large-scale unemployment in a country already facing population pressure.

AI & Collapse of Social Equilibrium

We often talk about AI and Job loss. But the bigger problem is more serious — deeper than just losing jobs. AI automation isn’t just taking away employment—it’s taking away purpose. Just imagine, one fine day you realize that your skills/ services are of no use. You are suddenly rendered useless! And when this happens to millions who are no longer needed in the system, the impact won’t just be financial. It’ll be deeply psychological.

Governments will be forced to respond with universal basic income or social security schemes. Because they can’t let displaced people starve.

But let’s ask the harder question: What happens to a society where people don’t feel useful anymore?

People don’t just live on money. They live on meaning. And when meaning disappears, mind starts losing control and negativity gives rise to following issues.

• Frustration
• Depression
• Crime
• Perversion
• Ideological extremism
• Social unrest

The gap between the empowered and the common will widen at a pace we’ve never imagined. And that kind of extreme inequality doesn’t just fracture economies—it collapses the society.

Loss of Interpersonal Value

As more human interaction is taken over by AI automation—be it customer support, therapy, or education—the worth of human-to-human interaction disintegrates. Individuals start to feel less needed, less heard, less connected.

This feeling of less valued, economical rift and other things as mentioned above may lead to total collapse of the society.

Social Collapse: A giant star starts pulling everything in due to its gravity and going further. It gets bigger, denser, hungrier—until one day, it collapses into itself.
A black hole.

That’s what happens when imbalance goes unchecked. That’s what we risk when human purpose is lost due to uncontrolled AI automation.

The processes and parameters, the data aspect, and the goals of business need to be understood clearly while designing the AI solution.

You need to understand what data is to be used for training the AI solution.

Every industry solution that we have provided so far involved a period of serious business understanding. It involved us, becoming a complete part of the client’s business.

A deep and thorough understanding of the business domain is essential for any software solution, whether AI or otherwise. Since AI may involve decision-making without human intervention, it is even more important to have the correct business understanding built into the solution.

Smart selection of what to automate—or left to AI—and what should be done with human intervention.At least, with the current status of AI, it is not a complete replacement of human beings. For the AI-based solution, it requires smart selection of deciding which aspects should have human involvement. Some decisions are automated, while some could involve an authentication from real people, and some could be purely human decisions based on the information provided by the AI engine.

Magnitude of parameters involved: In any business action, transaction, or decision-making, there are a large number of parameters involved. Which parameters to consider or train the AI on is a ‘humanly impossible task’, and one parameter missed can cause complete chaos. This is where you need to involve the human factor.

Case Study: Healthcare: Suppose healthcare decision-making AI engines are to be designed. Can a pure data scientist manage this? You need qualified, experienced doctors to get involved, as they are the ones who would miss fewer parameters and would know many nitty-gritty aspects of the decision-making. And the tech experts need to absorb sufficient knowledge before designing the system.

What kind/size of businesses can be helped with AI involvement?

• Large data and complex decision-making is involved.
• Some decision matrices are ‘subjective’ and are taken by gut feel.
• There are manual interactions involved, which requires a lot of manpower to support, which sometimes makes the business case less viable.
• The business model is more or less stable, where complete disruptions and chaotic changes are not expected.

Here are actual examples of each of the above situations:

• Complex decision-making: A large factory making a customizable product that requires hundreds of spare parts. Decisions on inventory, complex supply chain scenarios, and waiting periods between various processes. You need to anticipate possibilities, and there is a ‘judgement’ call taken. AI definitely can help this situation.
• Any product/service support where there are questions asked by users/customers that need to be answered—a manual process can be improved, augmented, or replaced to some extent using AI’s natural language processing ability, and this is a simpler integration with a smaller training on the support information data.
• Industries like automobiles have been more or less stable for many years. Training on existing data for better decision-making will be easier. But things that are completely dynamic and fast changing—using AI on earlier data alone may not be enough, and the training will be trickier as you may need to link it with changes that can be anticipated and changes and trends that can be sniffed from the online knowledgebase/media.
